Michael Vick Gets MJ

23 Months in prison. That is what Michael Vick has received for being involved in the now infamous dog fighting ring. Listening to sports talk radio and reading articles, today has turned into an obituary for him. What is most compelling is that the sentiment is that people are feeling sorry for him. Listening to Mike Tirico and Kirk Herbstreit saying how he was the rock of the Vick family and he is going to jail, when they met him he was such a nice guy, etc etc. B-O-O H-O-O. The guy was heavily involved in a dog-fighting ring. He couldn't stay out of trouble while under suspicion, failing a drug test in September. He lied to prosecutors about his involvement in the killing of dogs. He lied about drug use. There were also four more things he was caught lying about that are sealed by the court. I'm sorry, I can't have any sympathy for this guy. As a dog person, watching the video of the dogs fighting made me ill. Anyone who thinks that is acceptable is insane. He deserves what he got.
