Coast to Coast...like Tyus Edney against Mizzou

Wow...big news in the world of talk radio. "Mr. Tony" has landed! We are big fans of Tony Kornheiser and were listeners of his old radio shows both on ESPN Radio and on Sportstalk 980's website for his local show. Now it appears, via our friends at Awful Announcing, that will be returning to XM satellite radio beginning January 21st. "XM Sports Nation" channel 144 will also have the best sports show on radio, "The Dan Patrick Show" as well. Patrick will be on from 10 am-12 pm. It is not known yet when Mr. Tony's show will air. This is GREAT news for all satellite subscribers who now can hear these talents on a daily basis. Now if the XM/Sirius merger would go through, we could all be happy. Howard, Mr. Tony, DP, Baseball, NFL, come on now!

My brother's boy Ron Paul is getting torn up over a
1992 newsletter which shows racist and anti-gay statements. You wonder who is the one who decides "ok, this is the time to leak this information to bury this guy."

That scumbag Karl Rove wrote a very interesting Wall Street Journal piece
taking dead aim at Barack Obama's candidacy. A good read.

Your daily Britney update!
She has escaped to Mexico with her photographer friend.

Bad News:
Top 5 MTAC babe Rachel Bilson says she won't do nudity. That ain't right, Summer!

For all Tribe fans who want as much knowledge as they can, make sure you check out this fabulous report by Tony Lastoria of The Cleveland Fan about the Tribe's
Top Five Prospects for 2008.

As much as I can't stand Heidi Montag,
check out the bikini shots of her on the beach with her deuchebag boyfriend Spencer. Nice.

An ode to the losers....errrr...
the Cameron Crazies.

George Washington 49 St. Louis 20 - No, this is not a misprint and you are reading this correctly. GW scored 49 points and won by 29. St. Louis, now coached by Rick Majerus scored 20 points. 20! It's the fewest points in a game in the modern era of college basketball. The Billikens scored seven points in the first half. They made just seven field goals: 7-48 from the field, including 1-19 from three point land.

#4 Washington State 73 USC 58 - Wazzu continues to impress and show they can win playing any style. PF Aron Baynes is one of the most underrated players in the country and the reason this Cougar team is better than last years. They have a true post presence. He scored 18. Daven Harmerling came off the bench with 19. The great O.J. Mayo had 22 in a losing cause. See a pattern with him? He scores, he team loses. I wonder how his marketing is coming along?

#5 UCLA 69 Washington 55 - Does anyone not think UCLA will be there in the end this year? Another business-like performance from the Bruins. Russell Westbrook is really embracing his sixth man roll, going 6-7 from the field for 18 points. Luc Richard mbah a Moute added 17. Here's something you don't see often anymore. Both teams only shot 10 three pointers and each made just two. It's not all good news for UCLA - PG Darren Collison left early in the second half with a hip injury. Who else can't wait for the Washington State visit to Pauley on Saturday?

#14 Butler 74 Wisconsin-Green Bay 65 - This is why Butler is so underrated. They are a love by the three, die by the three team. Yet they went just 3-19 last night and still won by nine. The difference this year is the inside presence of Matt Howard, who scored 22 points and grabbed nine boards. Also, he got to the line 15 times, making 12. When the deep shots aren't falling, feed Howard and get to the winners circle.

#21 Wisconsin 70 Illinois 60 - Another loss for Bruce "Wooden" and his Illini. Trevon Hughes nailed three triples on his way to 22 points for the Badgers. Wisconsin is now 13-2 and making the Big Ten look like a three team race rather than a two-teamer.

#23 Stanford 66 Oregon State 46 - Lawrence Hill had 13, Brook Lopez and Anthony Goods each had 12, to move Stanford to 13-2. This game wasn;t even this close. Is it just me, or is Oregon State basketball kind of like Duke Football, perennially in the basement of their conference with no hope to get out?

Other Scores of Note:

Louisville 63 West Virginia 54 - Here come the Cardinals. The healthier they get, the more dangerous they will become. Both teams are now 11-4.

Oregon 79 Cal 70 - Just when I want to say Cal will be a player in the Pac-10, they look like a pretender yet again.

Mr. Tony's show will run immediately before the DP Show. It will start at 8:15 am and go to ten. The two shows are set to run back to back.
